Product Disclosures
How Knight Jewelry describes diamonds, gemstones, photographs, and quality on knightjewelry.store. These disclosures follow the FTC Jewelry Guides as we apply them to this catalog. If a product page, advertisement, or email conflicts with this page, this page controls.
Effective October 3, 2026·Knight Jewelry
1. Scope
These disclosures apply to jewelry offered by Knight Jewelry on knightjewelry.store. They are part of the Terms of Sale. They do not apply to websites we do not control.
2. Lab-grown and natural diamonds
A laboratory-grown diamond (also called lab-grown, lab-created, or man-made) has the same chemical composition and crystal structure as a mined diamond. Origin is a material fact. We disclose it so you can choose.
The Lab Grown Diamonds aisle on this store is exclusive. A piece appears there only when every variant we sell of that style is classified as a laboratory-grown diamond. Mined or natural diamonds, mixed-origin pieces, diamond simulants, and laboratory-grown colored gems are not sold in that aisle.
Other aisles may include mined diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds, colored gemstones, or pieces with no diamond. Read the product page for the stone type of the variant you select.
3. How we use the word diamond
Laboratory-grown diamonds are diamonds. We do not describe them as fake, imitation, or “not real” in contrast to mined diamonds. We also do not use “real diamond,” “genuine diamond,” or similar phrases to imply that a laboratory-grown diamond is something other than a diamond, or to smear lab-grown stones.
When a stone is a simulant (for example moissanite or cubic zirconia), we identify it as such. Simulants are not diamonds and are not listed in the Lab Grown Diamonds aisle.
4. Photographs, weight, and quality
Photographs, carat weights, millimeter measurements, metal stamps, color, and clarity on product pages are Knight Jewelry’s retail representations for presentation and comparison. Photographs may be enlarged, cropped, or lit. Weights and measurements are approximate unless a specific independent laboratory report ships with the piece and is identified on the product page or packing documents.
A quality description on this site is not an independent laboratory report, an appraisal, or a certificate from GIA, IGI, GCAL, or any other lab — unless we say that a named report ships with that piece. If no certificate is identified, do not treat the listing as graded by an independent lab.
Jewelry involves natural and manufactured materials. Minor variations in color, texture, inclusion pattern, and finish between the photograph, the description, and the piece you receive are not defects. See the Terms of Sale and the Limited Warranty.
5. Treatments and simulants
- Some gemstones are routinely treated (for example heating of corundum). Where a treatment is material to value or care and we know of it, the product page or packing documents will say so. If you need a treatment disclosure for a specific SKU before you order, email us.
- Simulants imitate the look of a diamond or gemstone and are not that mineral. We do not sell simulants as diamonds.
- Laboratory-grown colored gems (for example lab-grown emerald or sapphire) are not laboratory-grown diamonds and are not placed in the Lab Grown Diamonds aisle.
6. Responsible sourcing
We do not claim Kimberley Process certification, mine-of-origin, or a documented chain of custody for pieces sold on this store. We will not state that a diamond is conflict-free, ethically mined, or Kimberley Process certified unless Knight Jewelry holds written chain-of-custody documentation for that piece. If that documentation exists for a specific order, we will say so in writing for that order only.
Supplier marketing language that appears in an unpublished feed is not a Knight Jewelry representation. Public copy on this site is what we stand behind.
7. Not investment advice
Jewelry on this store is sold for personal wear. Listed prices are retail asking prices, not a prediction of resale, liquidity, or investment return, and not an appraised value. See Appraisals. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, or insurance advice.
