Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale govern every purchase, browse, and use of knightjewelry.store. Placing an order, signing in, saving checkout details, or using the site means you accept them.
Effective October 3, 2026·Knight Jewelry
1. Agreement
These Terms of Sale (the “Terms”), together with the policies they incorporate, form a binding contract between you and Knight Jewelry (“Knight Jewelry,” “we,” “us”). The incorporated policies are the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns Policy, Limited Warranty, Product Disclosures, Appraisals, and Accessibility Statement. If those pages conflict with marketing copy, product pages, or emails, these Terms and the incorporated policies control.
We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order, account, or use of the site that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive, resale-oriented without our written consent, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.
2. Who you are buying from
The seller is Nicholas J. Knight d/b/a Knight Logics, a Florida sole proprietorship. The shop name on this website is Knight Jewelry, at knightjewelry.store.Knight Jewelry is the store name. It is not a separate company from Knight Logics, which is why the Stripe checkout page, Stripe receipts, and your card statement may name Knight Logics.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract under applicable law to place an order. You represent that information you provide is accurate, that you are authorized to use the payment method, and that the shipping address is a location where you are authorized to receive the package.
We currently sell and ship only to addresses in the United States. We do not accept orders we cannot lawfully fulfill, including orders we reasonably believe would violate export, sanctions, or anti-money-laundering rules.
4. Electronic records and notices
You consent to receive contracts, receipts, order updates, and legal notices electronically, including by email to the address you provide at checkout and by posting on the site. A printed copy of these Terms is available on request at info@knightjewelry.store. You may withdraw electronic-notice consent by emailing us, but we may then be unable to complete an order that depends on email delivery of receipts or tracking.
The emails we send are about your orders and your sign-in: order received, order confirmed, shipped with tracking, canceled, refunded, and one-time sign-in codes. We do not add you to a marketing list because you placed an order.
5. Accounts, saved details, and the bag
Your account is the set of orders placed with your checkout email. There is no password. To sign in, you enter that email and we send a one-time code that expires after 10 minutes; a signed-in browser stays signed in for up to 30 days or until you sign out. Anyone who can read your email can sign in, so keep your email account secure and tell us at info@knightjewelry.store if you believe someone else used it. We may end sessions, limit sign-in attempts, or suspend access to protect you or the store.
You can also open a single order with its order number and the checkout email, or with the private link in your order emails. Treat that link like a receipt: anyone who has it can see that order.
“Checkout details on this device” and your shopping bag are stored in your browser only. They are a convenience and are not a reservation of inventory or price. Clearing your browser storage removes them. Anyone with access to that device can see or use them.
6. Catalog, descriptions, and images
Product names, metals, stone types, weights, measurements, and photographs are provided for retail presentation and are governed by the Product Disclosures. Photographs may be enlarged, cropped, or lit. Carat weights, millimeter measurements, and color descriptions are approximate unless a specific certificate is included with the piece and identified on the product page or packing documents.
Jewelry involves natural and manufactured materials. Minor variations in color, texture, inclusion pattern, and finish between the photograph, the description, and the piece you receive are not defects. We do not guarantee that a piece matches a third-party listing, an appraisal, or another retailer’s grading.
Inventory and configuration (including ring size) are confirmed when you place the order. An item shown as available may become unavailable before payment is captured. If we cannot fulfill a line, we will not charge you for that line, or we will refund it.
7. Pricing, tax, and errors
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax until tax is quoted at checkout from the ship-to address. Precious-metal and gem markets move. A displayed price is an offer to sell at that moment, not a promise that the same style will remain at that price.
If a price, tax quote, or promotion is obviously wrong (including a decimal error, a missing digit, or a rate that is commercially impossible), we may cancel the order and refund any amount captured. We are not obligated to honor a price that resulted from a system, display, or quotation error.
Sales tax is collected where we have a legal collection obligation. The amount quoted before you pay is the amount we will attempt to collect, subject to later adjustment if a taxing authority requires a different amount, in which case we will refund or invoice the difference as the law requires.
8. Orders, acceptance, and cancellation
An order is an offer to buy. When you complete checkout, your card is authorized for the order total: the bank holds the amount, but you are not charged yet. A person then reviews the order and confirms that each piece, metal, and size is available. We accept the order when we capture the payment, and we email you when that happens. The “order received” email you get right after checkout confirms that we have your order; it is not an acceptance.
Until we capture payment, we may decline the order, including for suspected fraud, address problems, availability, a pricing error, or inability to ship. If we decline or cannot fill the order, we release the authorization and you are not charged. How quickly a released hold disappears from your account depends on your bank, usually a few business days. Card authorizations expire after about 7 days; if an order cannot be confirmed within that time, we cancel it and tell you, rather than charging you later without a new authorization.
You may ask to cancel by emailing info@knightjewelry.store with the order number. Before capture, we cancel and release the hold. After capture, if the piece has not yet been ordered from the manufacturer or shipped, we will try to cancel and refund the original payment method. Sized-to-order, engraved, or otherwise customized pieces often cannot be canceled once work has started. A package that has already been handed to a carrier is handled under the Returns Policy, not as a free cancellation.
9. Payment
We accept payment cards through Stripe Checkout. The primary account number (PAN) and other card data are entered on Stripe and never touch Knight Jewelry servers. We may receive a payment reference, last-four digits, card brand, authorization result, and billing-address verification result. The billing address you provide is used for verification and fraud checks. A successful checkout authorizes the total. We capture that authorization only when the order is accepted, as described in section 8.
By submitting payment you authorize us and our processor to charge the total shown, including merchandise, shipping upgrades, and tax, and to re-authorize or reverse amounts as needed for errors, cancellations, returns, and chargebacks. We may refuse an order if authorization fails, AVS or other checks fail, or we reasonably suspect unauthorized use.
Chargebacks and payment disputes follow the Returns Policy. Email us before disputing a charge.
Your card statement shows K-LOGICS* KNIGHT JEWEL (some banks show KNIGHT LOGICS), the payment name for Nicholas J. Knight d/b/a Knight Logics. We do not store your full card number.
10. Shipping and risk of loss
Shipping methods, rates, processing times, address rules, and in-transit claims are set out in the Shipping Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Title to merchandise passes to you when we have been paid in full and the carrier delivers to the address you provided (or to a carrier hold location you authorized). Packages are insured in transit. Risk of loss for a lost, stolen, or damaged shipment is addressed in the Shipping Policy; you must contact Knight Jewelry, not a warehouse or a third party whose name does not appear on your receipt.
11. Returns and warranty
Unworn, eligible items may be returned as described in the Returns Policy. Sized-to-order, engraved, customized, worn, and certain other categories are final sale. The Limited Warranty covers specified manufacturing defects for one year from delivery and is the exclusive warranty we give, except for warranties that the law does not allow us to disclaim.
12. Title
Until we receive full payment, we retain title to the merchandise. If a payment is reversed, charged back, or otherwise unpaid after shipment, you must return the merchandise at our direction, and we may recover it and any deficiency, including reasonable collection costs permitted by law.
13. Intellectual property
The site, Knight Jewelry name and mark, layout, photographs, copy, and catalog presentation are owned by Knight Jewelry or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit the catalog, images, or pricing without our written permission. Product designs themselves may be owned by Knight Jewelry or by others; purchase of a piece does not transfer copyright, trademark, or design rights.
14. Acceptable use
You will not:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to buy jewelry for resale as a dealer without our written consent.
- Interfere with the site, checkout, tax quotation, or payment fields, or attempt to probe, scrape, or overload our systems.
- Submit false names, addresses, or payment information, or use another person’s card without authority.
- Circumvent geographic, quantity, or fraud controls.
15. Third-party services
Checkout, tax calculation, hosting, email, and fulfillment use service providers. Their terms may apply to the service they provide (for example, the payment processor’s hosted fields). We are not responsible for a third-party site you visit from a link we did not control. We do not sell your order to another retailer; you are buying from Knight Jewelry.
16. Disclaimers
EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY AND ANY WARRANTY THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND THE MERCHANDISE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access, that the catalog is complete, or that a piece is suitable as an investment, an heirloom appraisal, or insurance replacement value. See Appraisals.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, THE DISCLAIMER APPLIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Knight Jewelry AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO Knight Jewelry FOR THE MERCHANDISE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These limits do not apply to liability that the law of your state does not allow us to limit, including certain liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by our negligence where such a limitation is prohibited.
18. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Knight Jewelry and its officers, members, and service providers against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person’s rights, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
19. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, labor disputes, shortages of materials, utility or network failures, cyber incidents, fire, flood, pandemic, or government action. We will complete the order when reasonably able, or refund unfulfilled merchandise.
20. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules that would choose another jurisdiction’s law, except that the Federal Arbitration Act does not apply because these Terms do not require arbitration.
Before filing a claim, email info@knightjewelry.store with the order number and a description of the issue, and allow 30 days for us to attempt an informal resolution. If we cannot resolve it, exclusive venue is the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you and Knight Jewelry consent to personal jurisdiction there. Either party may still seek temporary injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or prevent misuse of the site.
You and Knight Jewelry each bring claims only in an individual capacity. If a court finds this sentence unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim may proceed as the court directs; the rest of these Terms still apply.
21. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a revised effective date. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for subsequent use and orders.
22. Miscellaneous
If a provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, or sale of assets. These Terms are the entire agreement for site use and purchases, and they supersede prior discussions about the same subject. Headings are for convenience only. “Including” means “including without limitation.”
